The Control Panel is responsible for control and monitoring of the flare system.  The set up and operation is the same for either elevated or ground flares.  Depending on specification and scope, the control panel can take many different shapes or forms.  It will typically contain indication lamps, e-stop, isolator, selector switches, relays, ignition transformer, timers and temperature controllers, all labelled cleary to facilitate ease of  use.

Flare Products make special enclosures, housings or racking systems to customer specifications.

Depending on the zonal classification of the area the control panel can be either remote from the pipeline or local.
